Ski School; nursery; ski, snowboard and clothing rental shop, sled park and tubbing hill with lift. Emergency room.

There are no ATMs in the resort, the closest one is 65 kilometers away in Uspallata, so it's recommended to take cash with you. You won't find either a grocery store, if you rent an apartment take all the necessary food items with you. There are a variety of restaurants throughout the mountain and also in the hotels.

In the mountain: La Barraca, 2797 meters high up where experts skiers can enjoy sandwiches, snack and fast food. En El Limite,at the base of the resort, fast food and sanwiches. La Herradura, self service and a la carte also at the base. El Parador, excellent menu and barbeques on Saturday nights. Hosteria Penitentes serves breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner also offers deliveries.   

Methods of payment, lift tickets, ski classes and accommodation at Hosteria Penitentes can be purchased in cash or with Mastercard and Visa also with local debit cards. All other restaurants accept only cash.

The closest most important airport (Francisco Gabrielli) is 174km away from the resort and 6km from the city. There are local transportation, buses and shuttles.

Penitentes is located in the province of Mendoza on the main road pass between the countries of Chile and Argentina. It is 168kms from the city of Mendoza roughly 2 hours drive. 

The ski field sits surrounded by the highest peaks of South America. The Aconcagua is just 9 kilometers away, which makes Penitentes the gateway to the highest peak of the Andes and Occident.

The resort has excellent snow conditions with a great defying gradient and services to satisfy all.

The views will amaze as you will find yourself  deep in the high Andes.
